Hello all! Finally, a multiply! We are a group of talented *ehem* musicians from our beloved school, TP, called TPLatinos! We consist of 2 subgroups, the TP Latin Band and the TP Samba Percussion! Basically the Latin Band plays Latin music (ChaCha, Rhumba, Samba etc), consisting of a mallet percussion player [marimba and vibraphone], a keyboardist, a guitarist, a bassist and a few percussionists. So far repertoires include Black Orpheus, Quien Sera [Sway] and Quando Quando Quando. On the other hand, the Samba Percussion consist of overly hyperactive members that never fails to create such a youthful atmosphere at each performance. As the new academic year arrived, Samba Percussion is now accommodating over 30-40 new members. Consisting of roughly 15-20 percussionists, the extremely enthusiastic & happy pom peepee seniors are still very much intact with their musical sides and are set to pass down knowledge to their successors. Always ready to try new things, Samba Percussion will go all the way to reach greater heights! All in all, calling ourselves a percussion group just does not sound right. When we join TPLatinos, we do not emphasize on music alone. There is an essential factor that we are particular about and it is something we hold close to our hearts; the family bonding. Important Notes To Remember:
1. Hydrate yourself sufficiently. [advisable to drink 500ml of water before parade]
2. Only plain white t-shirts or white long sleeves [only for tudung gerls] to be worn inside the costume.
3. Gloves [optional] for those who get blisters.
4. Shin or knee pads or both, for surdos a must.
5. Any problems/enquiries contact Rahman [98617958] or Oma [93429631].
6. We have faith in all of us. We will rock City Hall like how we rocked all our other gigs.
